At Phoenix Counseling Services, our clinical team specializes in working with individuals who are involved with the criminal courts and/or family law courts. We specialize in domestic violence counseling, forensic counseling, including court ordered domestic violence risk assessment & domestic violence treatment. We also provide court ordered mental health assessment and treatment, trauma counseling, court ordered anger management and DV Focused Parenting Skills and Education programs.

Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment Services
Our domestic violence intervention treatment programs are designed to help you overcome personal challenges and achieve your goals. Whether you are facing challenges related to divorce and custody issues, parenting plans, protection orders or are have criminal charges related to domestic violence, our experienced counselors can help you achieve your goals through the process. Our staff and counselors provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insights into your behavior, and develop strategies for positive change.
Civil and Criminal Court Ordered Domestic Violence Assessment & Treatment
We are a Washington State certified Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment program. Our counselors are unequally knowledgeable of criminal and civil domestic violence laws and understand the need to provide information and guidance.
DVIT Level 1 - 3
Our counselors provide Trauma-Informed Cognitive-Behavioral group and individual therapy designed to help participants overcome challenges related to irrational thinking, abusive behavior, ineffective communication, internal conflict, and other domestic violence/abuse issues. Our therapists use evidence-based techniques to help participants develop healthier coping skills, improve self-esteem, identify and implement healthy boundaries and overall, achieve healthier relationships. Our counselors help you build a support network, promote ongoing personal growth and achieve lasting recovery.
DVIT Level 4
Our licensed counselors have over 25 years working with people who demonstrate personality anomalies and psychopathic traits. Or counselors provide individual therapy for participants who have had a DV Risk Assessment and meet the criteria for Level 4 Domestic Violence Intervention Treatment.
